Cost Basics

How much does it cost?

The definition of “win-win” is where everyone comes away happy. We like that. We actually strive for it. Customers deserve “Elite work” at an equitable price. We deserve to make a living.

Our work is customized for you. Every job is a fresh start so price points naturally vary. Still, we all have budgets to maintain. The outline below gives Room Sketchour customers an idea of what to expect.

Materials, a Standard Room

  • About 10 feet x 12 feet (352 square feet) with 8 foot ceilings
  • Overview
    • One coat on the walls requires 1 gallon of paint.
    • For two coats a second gallon is needed.
    • Caulk, putty, plastic, spackle, sandpaper, rollers, covers, brushes, etc.
  • Paint / Material Costs
    • $300 depending on the paint you want to use.

Labor, a Standard Room

–    Normally, labor costs for wall painting equals $385 – $495.

–    Painting the trim naturally adds to the investment.

–    This varies depending on number of doors, windows, baseboards, crown molding, etc.

–    Ceilings usually add up to $250 – $300.

Insurance

  • This only costs you if your contractor doesn’t have it when a mishap occurs. We have it.
Equitable Rate

Our estimates are free. They offer the specific cost of your unique project. They’re detailed and include spots others “overlook” like closets and crown molding.
